Cookie policy
How cookies and similar technologies are used on mynxtrip.com and search.mynxtrip.com, and how you can control them.
Last updated: 4 November 2026
Summary: the main mynxtrip.com website doesn't set its own advertising or analytics cookies. Cookies on our pages come from our partners: mainly Travelpayouts, which powers our flight search and affiliate links, and the airlines, travel agents and hotel sites you click through to. These cookies help run search, remember your preferences and record that you came from mynxtrip, so the partner can pay us. You can block or delete them in your browser at any time.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
1.1 Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device through your browser. They let the site recognise your browser on later visits or as you move between pages.
1.2 Similar technologies include local storage and session storage (data saved in your browser), pixels and web beacons (tiny images that record a page view or email open), scripts that read or set identifiers, and URL parameters that carry a tracking ID from one site to another. In this policy, "cookies" covers all of these.
1.3 First-party cookies are set by the website you are visiting. Third-party cookies are set by a different domain, such as a partner whose script runs on the page.
1.4 Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay until they expire or you delete them.
2. Types of cookies
| Type | What it does | Used on the Service? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Needed for a site to work, for example to load pages securely or remember a cookie choice | Yes, on search.mynxtrip.com and by our hosting provider where needed |
| Functional | Remembers preferences such as recent searches, filters, language and currency | Yes, on search.mynxtrip.com |
| Affiliate and attribution | Records that you were referred by mynxtrip, so a partner can credit us with a commission | Yes, set by Travelpayouts and Providers |
| Analytics | Measures how pages are used | Not set by mynxtrip at present. Partners may use their own analytics on their own sites |
| Advertising | Builds profiles to show targeted ads | Not set by mynxtrip. Providers may use advertising cookies on their own sites under their own policies |
3. What mynxtrip sets
3.1 The main mynxtrip.com website does not set its own advertising, analytics or profiling cookies. Our fonts and images are served from our own servers.
3.2 When you click a search button or partner link, the request passes through our click-recording endpoint (mynxtrip.com/go). It records the click on our server, as described in our Privacy Policy. It doesn't place a cookie on your device.
3.3 Our hosting provider may use strictly necessary technical mechanisms to deliver pages securely and protect against attacks.
4. Third-party cookies and technologies on mynxtrip.com
| Third party | Purpose | Type |
|---|---|---|
| Travelpayouts Drive | A script loaded on every page that analyses page content and visitor behaviour to convert links into affiliate links, add booking links or widgets, show travel offers and attribute bookings to mynxtrip | Affiliate and attribution; functional |
| Travelpayouts / Aviasales | When you search flights, records the mynxtrip marker so bookings are credited to us | Affiliate and attribution |
| Booking.com, Agoda and affiliate networks such as CJ | When you click a hotel link, record that you came from mynxtrip and run their own websites | Affiliate and attribution; and the partner's own cookies on its site |
We don't control these cookies, their duration or how the data is used. Each third party is responsible for its cookies under its own privacy and cookie policy, which you can find on its website.
5. Cookies on search.mynxtrip.com
5.1 Our flight search at search.mynxtrip.com is provided using Travelpayouts White Label technology. It may set first-party and third-party cookies and use local storage to:
- run the search and display results;
- remember your recent searches, filters, currency and language;
- record your response to the cookie banner;
- attribute bookings to mynxtrip through the affiliate marker; and
- measure the performance of the search.
5.2 This page also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address and browser information when the page loads, under Google's privacy policy.
5.3 When you first visit, a cookie banner explains this use. By clicking Accept or continuing to use the page, you agree to these cookies. You can change your choice by clearing cookies for search.mynxtrip.com in your browser.
6. How affiliate tracking works
- You click a flight search or hotel link on mynxtrip.
- The link includes a tracking ID (for example, our Travelpayouts marker or affiliate ID) identifying mynxtrip as the referrer.
- The Provider or affiliate network stores that ID in a cookie or similar technology on your device, for the period set by the Provider (which may range from your current session to 30 days or more).
- If you make a qualifying booking within that period, the Provider credits mynxtrip and pays us a commission.
This tracking does not give mynxtrip access to your Booking, your payment details or your identity. It does not change the price you pay.
7. Your choices and consent
7.1 You can accept, refuse or delete cookies at any time using your browser settings (section 8). Most browsers let you block all cookies, block only third-party cookies, delete cookies when you close the browser, or browse privately.
7.2 You can also use browser extensions or privacy features that block tracking scripts. If you block the Travelpayouts Drive script, mynxtrip.com will still work, but some links may not be affiliate links.
8. How to control cookies in your browser
- Google Chrome: Settings, then Privacy and security, then Third-party cookies (or Cookies and other site data).
- Microsoft Edge: Settings, then Cookies and site permissions, then Manage and delete cookies and site data.
- Mozilla Firefox: Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Enhanced Tracking Protection and Cookies and Site Data.
- Safari (Mac): Settings, then Privacy, then Prevent cross-site tracking and Manage Website Data.
Browser menus change over time. Check your browser's help pages for the latest instructions.
9. Mobile devices
- iPhone and iPad (Safari): Settings, then Safari, then turn on Prevent Cross-Site Tracking, or use Clear History and Website Data.
- Android (Chrome): Chrome, then the three-dot menu, then Settings, then Site settings, then Third-party cookies.
10. What happens if you block cookies
- mynxtrip.com will continue to work normally.
- search.mynxtrip.com may not remember your recent searches, filters or currency, and may show the cookie banner again.
- Partners may not be able to credit mynxtrip with a commission. This doesn't affect you or your price.
- Some Provider websites may not work properly without their own cookies.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as our partners, tools and the law change. If we start using our own analytics or advertising cookies, we will update this page and, where required, ask for your consent first. For questions, email grievance@mynxtrip.com. See also our Privacy Policy.
