Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan and part of the Golden Triangle with Delhi and Agra. Two or three days is enough for Amer Fort, the City Palace and the old-city bazaars. Many visitors stay in a converted haveli or palace hotel.
Best time to visit
October to March. Summer is very hot.
Getting there
Jaipur International (JAI) is about 30 minutes from the old city.
